Who runs this site

CompareDev (comparedev.com) is operated by an individual — Leonan Mansano — based in Brazil. It is not a registered company. Brazilian law (LGPD) treats the operator as the data controller. EU readers are covered by GDPR principles; U.S. readers by applicable state privacy laws.

What this site collects

CompareDev is a static site. It does not have user accounts, comments, or a database of personal information. The data the site processes is limited to:

  • Server logs (kept by the hosting provider, Netlify): IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamp of each request. Used for security and uptime monitoring. Logs are not exported or sold.
  • Newsletter email (if/when you subscribe): your email address. Stored with the newsletter service that runs the form (currently not yet wired). Used only to send the weekly review email. You can unsubscribe in one click; doing so deletes the address from the active list.
  • Analytics: none currently. If privacy-friendly analytics (e.g., Plausible, GoatCounter) are added in the future, this page will be updated and no third-party cookies will be set.

What this site does NOT collect

  • No advertising trackers.
  • No third-party cookies.
  • No fingerprinting scripts.
  • No data sold to anyone, ever.

Your rights under LGPD / GDPR

You can request:

  • Access to any personal data CompareDev holds about you.
  • Correction or deletion of that data.
  • A copy of the data in a portable format.

Use the contact form to make a request. Requests are answered within 15 days.

When affiliate partnerships are active (currently none — see Affiliate Disclosure), clicking an outbound affiliate link may set a cookie on the partner’s domain (not CompareDev’s). The partner’s own privacy policy applies to that cookie.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be noted with a new “Last updated” date at the top.
